Star Wars: The Derelict Prophet
The Derelict Prophet
A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away…..
The Galactic Empire has begun its slow creep across the galaxy at the disbanding of the Old Republic. Now the corruption is spreading and only strange outlaw organizations permeate the known cosmos Outer Rim while the Inner Rim suffers heavily from Imperial dominion. Rebel organizations are rumored to be blossoming deep within the confines of space but only a handful of encounters with them, most of which ended in swift ends, have diminished the hopes of planets currently under Imperial control.
Space, these days, is a 'wild western' affair with all sorts of characters taking up arms in whatever trade they can manage. Rife, the tumults are with smugglers, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and slavers competing over the credit pool to have a stake in what is a starved economy.
Meanwhile the Empire is out collecting force sensitive beings and locking down planets in a desperate attempt to stifle their opposition for when their true motives come to light. One such place, known as Dorin, is under strict watch at this time due to the high volume of force sensitive sentients on the planet, namely the Kel Dor. This lock down has caused it to be one of the most profitable locations for smugglers to run, though it is nearly impossible to enter. Unbeknownst to the Empire the Kel Dor had attempted off planet colonies that were based in large stations, but most of them have ended in failure.
One of the colonies lost was known as the Derelict and the whereabouts of its wreckage remained a mystery for several years until a subtle, nearly undetectable ping resonated from the station in the dead space where it slumbered.
Why the sudden reemergence of an assumed, destroyed colony? It was due to one force sensitive Kel Dorian had no idea what she had just done.
